Admission Requirements

To qualify for SSP, applicants must:

Obtain supervisor approval prior to application.

Hold (or be completing) a Master’s degree equivalent after 18 years of education.

Be 35 years old or younger at enrollment.

Demonstrate an excellent academic record from reputable institutions.

Possess high English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS scores preferred).

Commit to publish multiple papers in top peer-reviewed journals by program end.

Completion Requirements

Enrollment: Minimum three academic years.

Credits: ≥10 doctoral course credits.

Exams: Preliminary exam (after year 1) and final public defense.

Publications: At least one paper in a high-impact journal; multiple encouraged.

Scholarship Benefits

Fee Waivers: Entrance exam (¥15,000), enrollment (¥300,000), and tuition (¥535,800/year) fully waived for 3 years.

Monthly Stipend: ¥150,000 for living expenses.

Travel Grant: ¥150,000 for initial travel/living costs (for outbound international students).
